Just like anyone buying online, when I was browsing through the
FURminator Reviews, I observed that every review I read was pretty much exactly the same.
Right after I bought mine, I also wanted to create overview of this rather pricey grooming tool. However I did not want to just add my review to all the others and be just the same as everyone else.
So I thought I'd write an evalutaion from two points of views, my perspective and the dog's perspective!
Ok, at first glance your are thinking I've gone insane. Dogs as you may know, can't talk, bark yes, but talk no. Mind you, if you ever see a dog talking you might want to go and obtain yourself examined.
Just how on earth then am I going to ask my dog how he feels about the FURminator
A persons perspective
Allow me to go first. The FURminator is actually a fine metal blade on the end of long lasting rubber handle. It's created to be used just like a brush but includes a different feel and look to an ordinary brush. The specialized metal comb actually pulls away the loose undercoat fur or shed as it's called.
Exactly why is taking out the undercoat a good thing
Fur it appears is everywhere you look. Fur is in our home, the floor, the couch, the tiles, our clothes and flying through the air. By actually eliminating huge clumps of the stuff every couple of weeks we now have noticed a dramatic reduction in visible quantity of fur just floating around. Especially after loosing the classic winter coat!!
The Dogs Perspective
When I get Oakley professionally washed and groomed it's often a big deal. Oakley runs around avoids the hairdryer after which he runs straight for the dirtiest patch of ground he can find. All in all, money well spent.
If he could talk he would say that he doesn't actually love that process much whatsoever. Nevertheless the FURminator doesn't cause any of those issues. Using it is an easy process, and Oakley actually enjoys it. How do I know?
Due to the fact it's simply a matter of gliding it across his coat as he stands still and lets the procedure happen. If you were to question him, he'd say it's really no problem at all.
Justifying the price
Overall the
FURminator successfully removes plastic bag after plastic bag filled with fur and keeps Oakley's coat looking healthier and clean. A normal brush just doesn't appear to have the same effect.
While its more expensive than a regular brush it will perform a lot better
